IMS Computing Society is one of the largest and most active societies in the Campus. We organize both computer and non-computer based socials, academic talks and activities, and provide hosting for both our members and other University societies. The society is open to all members of the Institute, particularly if you have an active interest in computers and computing: whether academic or recreational. If you wish to find out more about us, please feel free to read this website or contact us.

Sports Society is well reputed for its activities. It organizes games for the students. It participates in University Level competitions. The society played matches in triangular cricket series 2005, Inter-university Cricket Championship Zone D, organized by the Higher Education Commission. Our students did perform very well, winning a couple of matches.

Literary society holds a bilingual declamation contest every year, and in February this year the contest attracted 40 debaters from 20 colleges of Lahore. The society has also been participating in similar contests held at other forums and winning distinctions. Last year, our two students Ms. Nida of BBA and Mr. Naveed of MBA, represented the IMS at Dadabhoy Institute of Management Sciences Karachi, in national debates won the national bilingual debates trophy. Off course we all take pride in these students.

The Fine Art Society was created to provide a community that links all types of creativity, regardless of what course you are in or what level you, yourself, feel you are at. We aim to connect everyone at IMS with a common interest and love for art. This creates a perfect opportunity (especially for those not studying a creative subject) to collaborate, share ideas, help others with their work and, most importantly, find those fellow arty students who are as weird and wonderful as yourself.
